Whether your little one is discovering the world from their tummy, reaching for tiny toes or proudly sitting on their own, these sessions celebrate the milestones that pass by so quickly during their first year, allowing you to hold on to the smiles and little moments that are so easy to forget with time.

Every session is designed around your baby. From the moment you arrive at my studio in Little Bealings, you’ll enjoy a calm experience where your child can relax, smile and simply be themselves.

With over 15 years of experience photographing babies, I gently guide every session while giving your baby plenty of time to explore and play.

When Is The Best Time To Book?

Baby Sessions | 1 – 5 Months

These sessions are perfect for little ones from around one to five months old, before they’re sitting independently.

Whether you’ve simply been waiting for this stage or your baby has already grown beyond the newborn weeks, these sessions are a wonderful way to capture the next chapter.

Those first smiles, curious expressions and little interactions change so quickly, making this the perfect time to capture these portraits before your child reaches their next milestone.

Sitter Sessions | 6 – 11 Months

Once your baby is sitting confidently but isn’t yet walking, you’ve reached one of the sweetest stages to capture.

Babies at this age are full of smiles, curiosity and character. They’re beginning to interact with the world around them, making every gallery wonderfully unique.

If your baby is just starting to sit but is still a little wobbly, that’s the perfect time to get in touch. We’ll usually book your session for around two to three weeks later, once they’re sitting confidently but before they’re on the move.

Everything Is Planned Around You

Preparing for your session couldn’t be easier. Baby and Sitter Sessions are designed to keep the focus entirely on your little one.

Baby Sessions are photographed safely on a large, supportive beanbag, allowing your baby to move naturally as I capture their smiles, expressions and growing personality.

Before your session, you’ll choose your preferred fabric colour, and you’re welcome to bring a few favourite outfits to add variety to your gallery.

Sitter Sessions offer a little more variety, with access to my collection of outfits, backgrounds and carefully selected props.

You’re also very welcome to bring along your own outfits if there’s something special you’d like your little one to wear.

What Happens On The Day?

Your Baby or Sitter Session lasts up to 30 minutes and is designed to be relaxed, enjoyable and completely centred around your little one.

Every baby is different, so we’ll work at their pace throughout the session. Whether they need a little time to settle or simply a short pause between photographs, there’s never any pressure to rush.

Every smile, every giggle, every curious glance, there’s never any pressure to perform or sit perfectly.

With years of experience photographing babies, I know how to gently encourage natural interactions while keeping the session relaxed, playful and enjoyable.

Your Images

Relive the Moment

Around 1 week after your session, your photographs will be carefully selected and professionally edited before being uploaded to your own private online gallery.

Your £99 Creative Fee includes three beautifully edited high resolution digital images, ready to download. Once you’ve viewed your gallery, you can choose your included favourites and decide whether you’d like to keep more of these precious memories.

Many parents find it difficult to choose just three favourites. If you’d love to keep more of your gallery, you can easily upgrade to one of the larger collections after viewing your photographs.

These photographs are wonderful for sharing with family and friends, while some families also choose to transform their favourite images into beautiful artwork for their home. If you’d like to explore creating something special for your walls, I’d be delighted to guide you through the options available.

Your Baby or Sitter Session is secured with a non-refundable £99 Creative Fee, which includes the Simply Smiling Collection and up to 30 minutes in the studio.

If you’d like a larger collection after viewing your gallery, you can simply upgrade online:

5 digital images – £149 (an additional £50)

10 digital images – £199 (an additional £100)

There’s no need to decide before your session. Once your gallery is ready, you can simply choose the collection that’s right for you.

These sessions are designed to celebrate your baby’s milestones, keeping the focus entirely on them. If you’re looking to include parents, siblings or the whole family, my ‘Family’ and ‘Cake Smash’ sessions offer the perfect opportunity to create photographs together.

What age is best for a Baby Session?

Baby Sessions are ideal for babies aged between one and five months, before they’re sitting independently.

When should I book a Sitter Session?
