Hello, I’m Georgina, the photographer behind Life Is Beautiful Photography. Since 2012, I’ve been welcoming families from Ipswich and across Suffolk into my studio. My style is all about creating portraits that feel relaxed, full of love and true to you. With over 15 years experience as a maternity and newborn photographer, my aim is simple: to capture your family’s story in timeless images you’ll want to keep forever.
As a mum myself, I know how fast it all goes. One moment you’re feeling those tiny kicks, the next you’re cradling your baby in your arms. Parents often tell me they’re worried about missing those little details – the curled-up toes, the sleepy stretches, the way their baby melts into them. That’s where I come in. My sessions are calm and gentle, giving you the space to just be with your baby while I capture the moments you’ll always want to remember.
When I started Life Is Beautiful Photography, I wanted to do things differently. I didn’t want rushed sessions or impersonal experiences. Instead, my Ipswich studio is designed to be a safe, welcoming place where you can truly relax. Every detail, from how I care for your newborn to how I edit your gallery, is handled with patience and care.

I’ve had a camera in my hand since I was nine. Photography, for me, has never just been about pretty pictures – it’s about connection, memory and love. My mission is to help families celebrate their story in a way that feels natural and completely personal.
Before opening my studio, I worked on cruise ships (and yes, I’ve got a few stories from those days!).
I have a knack for bringing out smiles, even from the shyest little ones.
I never say no to a proper cup of English tea.
I’m proud to be a founding member of the Suffolk Mum and Baby Hub, supporting families through pregnancy and beyond. You’ll also often find me at John Lewis Ipswich’s “All Things Baby” events, meeting new parents and sharing little tips for capturing those early moments.
